Let’s keep it simple–AUS club stalwart Human Movement (Edward Macdonald) is back on the map with new originals. Teaming up with long-time label pals Gallery, the Sydney (Eora) producer brings a blend of radio-ready and fiery dance to eardrums everywhere.
“Sub Subtle” is the first piece of the puzzle—a smooth breaker characterised by chirping sirens, wobbly bass and über-crisp percussion. Although a fairly mean record, there’s also a feeling of comfort and freshness thanks to bearhug synths and watery effects.
On the song’s creation, HM says:
“Written in Amsterdam, I wanted to move away from using the typical UKG elements that I was leaning on in my previous works. I wanted the song to be something I could listen to on any given day but would also work in a club.”
Currently, amid a tour of Europe with a monstrous B2B with Bklava at Drumsheds London as its shining light, Human Movement will be rolling back home with a tonne of momentum and a war chest of tunes.
